Breakfast Menu

• Ulster Breakfast: Locally produced bacon & sausages, tomato, black pudding by Staunton’s of Cork, potato & soda breads, fried egg and mushrooms


• Specialist Sausages, roast tomatoes, mushrooms & bacon lardons (Choose from; venison, wild boar & apple, or saddleback pork & sun dried tomato)


• Shredded duck en cocotte: shredded duck on bed of oven baked eggs and fresh herbs


• Belfast Omelette The ingredients of an Ulster in an open omelette


• Eggs:Scrambled with Irish smoked salmon & toasted wheaten, Omelettes; mushroom or cheese or smoked salmon, Boiled, poached or coddled (coddled eggs take 10 minutes)


• Porridge: Oatmeal drizzled with honey, fresh cream and Irish Mist liqueur or with warm fruit compote

Vegetarian Options

• Portobello mushroom melt: Portobello mushrooms stuffed with tomato, cheese and herbed breadcrumbs


• Pancakes served warm with sliced bananas & maple syrup or homemade raspberry jam


• Vegetarian Breakfast:Vegetarian sausages, fried egg, tomato, mushrooms, potato & soda breads


• Toasted bagel with sun dried tomatoes & basil scramble


• Breads: Warm croissants/danish pastries/pain au chocolate, homemade wheaten bread, Toast – white or granary


• Tea: Regular or herbal
• Coffee:Filtered or Espresso & Hot Chocolate

Breakfast served:

• Mon-Fri 7.30-8.45am
• Sat-Sun 8.00-9.30am

For early departures there is a choice; continental breakfast tray, frittata or bacon or sausage sandwich – please ask

All dishes are made in the guesthouse

Served between 6.30 – 7.30pm Monday-Friday
